Windows xp does not let me boot from cd

i cant boot from cd i changed the bios settings and i cant do it??? whats going on?

    Could you elaborate more? You changed the bios setting from what to what? Is the boot order correct?

    Is the CD actually bootable? i.e Is it a genuine copy of the OS? More info please mate. :)
