The Inquirer has taken the time to produce an article following up from recent rumours about Microsoft’s intentions regarding the upcoming Windows XP 64-Bit Edition.
The idea is not without a precedent. Currently, Microsoft will only sell its Media Center software through OEMs. This, as we've reported several times before, has incensed hardware manufacturers in Taiwan, many of which have produced "media centre" style PCs, but are stymied because of Microsoft's refusal to sell XP Media Center to all and sundry.
