Change CDRW drive letter

I dunno when / how this happened. My physical cdrw is now drive E: ... nothing wrong with it whatsoever, I'd just like it to be D: and listed before my two virtual drives. How can I change the physical drive's letter back to D:?

    rut-roh .... do you need to reboot to see it? It hasn't changed...and even disabling virtual drives in Daemon doesn't seem to be working right away :-/

    No you should not have to reboot. Change it to Z and see what happens. If you have partitions then, perhaps, rebooting will sort things out and you change the CDRW back to an available letter of your choosing.

    Lol rebooting would require interrupting my Green Day binge :rockon:

    MM - gotcha covered. I tried changing it to Z:...nothing happened. I refreshed that stupid My Computer window about 80 times. Yeah, I've been having problems with the cd driver ... or ... whatever ... drsomething.bus or something lol. SP2 didn't like it, and it took 3 attempts of D-Tools to finally install it :banghead:

    //EDIT:
    Hm, I guess I shouldn't be so lazy next time. Reboot fixed it :). But now the drwhatever.bus issue is bothering me. Any ideas?
