HiJackThis log - Daffodilious

Please help. I have attempted all mentioned here, but when I get to the PrcView and Runme9x, things go awry. I have PrcView running and I click on the module to take a look at the .dll files. There is no other option. Whenever I attempt Runme9x, it won't let me choose any of the options--when I type 1 to view Explorer .dll files, it immediately says "bad command or file name" and take me to a log.txt notepad. How am I supposed to find the hidden .dll file if I can't run this properly? I went through every .dll file running in the PrcView module, but they all appear when I run a file search on them. I'm ready to chuck out the baby with the bathwater here, folks. Here's my recent Hijack This logfile:

I was really hoping to find that devil file and delete it in the Safe Mode steps, but it's not happening for me that way. What am I doing wrong?

    Welcome to short-media.

    Wow...that log is really sparse.

Could you tell us what steps you have tried, and if you have removed files already, what they were?

You're not the first Windows 98 with PRCView problems. If you send me an e-mail to vanagon40 at gmail dot com (note vanagon40, not 45, and obviously put in correct format), I will forward an attachment with my copy of PRCView. It looks like maybe it has been updated, so maybe that is the problem with Windows 98.

Otherwise, as shwaip suggested, post more details about your problem. Do you have the same about:blank symptoms I had?
