how can I open up my laptop?

hi everyone. I'm new here, so I apologize if this is the wrong forum. I have to replace the palm rest assembly in my dell inspiron 8200, and just received the new one in the mail. I was going to pay to have it installed, but it looks relatively simple, i.e. there's only one plug to the whole thing. does anyone know where I can find information on how to open the chassis of my computer, or should I just pay the $50 or so to have it installed? thanks for any help :)

    The first thing the decision really hinges on is whether your notebook is still under warranty. If it is, taking it apart far enough to replace the palm rest might void the warranty.
