Corsair CAS-2, A64

This is probably in the wrong place, but there isn't a memory forum so....

I've just bought this:

Corsair 1GB DDR XMS3200C2PT TwinX (2x512MB) CAS2 (MY-030-CS)

For my A64, MSI K8T NEO system and I can't get it to run at CAS 2.0. I've tried setting 2-2-2-11 as suggested somewhere on these forums, I've tried overvolting the memory (up to 2.80v at one point) and fiddling with every setting I can find.... The system will boot at 2-3-3-11 @ 200MHz with the memory voltage at 2.70V but windows gives me a BSOD before the login screen, which isn't much use.... my current timings, which seem to be stable are 2.5-3-3-7 @ 210MHz, but obviously I'd like to improve this if I can. Anyone got any suggestions?

Will the board run 2-2-2-11 with one stick?

Check the manual, many boards state that they only support 1 stick of memory running at DDR400/PC3200/200mhz.

Ah, it probably was that.... I got round it by setting my DDR speed to DDR333 and raising my 'FSB' (really a base clock in A64s) to 220MHz. Now my memory is doing 2-2-2-6 @ 175MHz while my core speed is 2.4GHz. I could probably get it a bit higher, but I can't lock my AGP bus so I'm loathe to try 225MHz in case it frys my radeon.
