today many us sites will not let australians purchase any thing from the US due to laws just wondering if you guys are still aloud to sell outside the US
Generally its not laws that prevent export (except on a few things like encryption, and to "bad" countries like Cuba). Most US online companies won't ship outside the US simply because its a pain in terms of paperwork and customs and generally a small market.

That and foreign exchange rates, fees US companies encounter from banks for depositing foreign checks, and shipping costs, if from US 1\3 of the way around the world to Australia. You folks can get as cheap from Taiwan as we can, almost, without shipping the stuff from there to here, to you again. Once long distance shipping of things padded well is figured in, no profits occur or folks far away end up paying more from companies far from them-- in the case of US, VERY far.
