Windows XP SP2 cracked

Okay, so this isn't really news, especially not to myself who ran into a working key generator that successfully created keys which would work with SP2 many weeks ago, but in an official capacity this is once again another blow to Microsoft. All be it, an inevitable and expected one. The Inquirer reports.
Microsoft has claimed that it's introduced features in SP2 which mean that illegal users of stolen or cracked activation codes won't be able to upgrade the OS, which is due for release in August of this year.

However, sources in the community are claiming that there's already a keygen for service pack 2 out in the wild that will bypass the security arrangements.

Who can build a better mousetrap and who can build a better mouse....

If MS really thought this was going to stop the pirates, I'd love to get some of the stuff they're smoking.

Yeah they should just stop wasting money trying to stop pirates because it's impossible and this doesn't even slow down the hardcore pirate-ers. Someone I know was able to find a keygen that worked with SP2 in under 10 minutes of searching various websites. Probably millions of dollars and weeks of work were spent to keep the pirates out of SP2 and the averager pirate-er is able to get bu in under 10 minutes of searching. Goodjob Microsoft.

they key gen doesn't have that much of an impact, its the sp2 activation killer app that is gonna get em. i have seen it used to success, and allow the pc to receive windows updates.
