Hey kids. While I'm stuck in dial-up land my production has gone to the crapper but that means that the downtime has given me a chance to fix up the cases of some of my rigs.

Lazarus, the 600mhz Athalon system that was resurected from junk piles and trash cans around the campus just got a case (free) and I'm working to make it nice. The outside is painted with chalkboard black paint (free) and the chassis is white appliance epoxy (free). I cut a good sized window for it and will have to buy the acrylic but I'd need a design to etch into it.

Would someone plz email me a 4" x 4" image of a folding cog? I think that would look sweet on the rig and with a red LED inside it should glow nice. I like :fold: but need something bigger. All your love would be appreciated. And when it's done, I'll make Garg post pics.

I resized the original :fold: to 4" (pic1). I also wiped the logo from Keeb's 1K milestone cog which was closer to the size you need to begin with. I printed it (pic 2) and it looks like it might make a decent pattern.

Me, too. I may even have seen my monitor wince... ;D

I was going to leave it out, but after looking at it I thought maybe it had potential as a pattern for an artsy-craftsy mod. At least I offered a clear choice. :vimp:

Remember, when you cut it into the plex you can control how different areas look by changing the surface finish. If there are areas that you want real clear, polish them by brushing on a very small amount of acetone. It will disolve the surface and restor very good clarity. Very frosted areas will have more color, but less intensity.
