Barton 2.4ghz vs P4 3.4C

FAH1 MP 2800+ @ 2.4ghz
FAH2 MP 2800+ @ 2.4ghz
FAH6 XP-M 2400+ @ 2.4ghz
FAH7 P4 3.4C @ 3.4ghz

    Damn, look at all those juicy big point Tinkers that AMD's love so much. Too bad the P4 drew one too, the P4's do much better with Gromacs and DGros. Running Tinkers on the P4 really is a lot slower due to Tinker not using any SSE or SSE2.

    Looks good. Would have been better if it had picked up a dgro wu instead. Nice dually. :thumbsup:

    You should take a look at the Short-Media skin for EM. :)

    Athlons are much more efficient running normal Non SSE/SSE2/SSE3 code... :)

    What's the % of Tinkers vs Gromacs running overall? Anyone know?

    #1 EMCalc P4 3.4C from Post#1 162.84pts/day
    #2 EMCalc P4 3.4C from Post #8 99.50pts/day (163.10pts/day total)
    #3 EMCalc P4 3.4C from Post #8 63.60pts/day (163.10pts/day total)

    Not much benefit here, but it's not an apples to apples comparison though....

    The P4 gained 10pts/day by running a 2nd instance running the Gro but still ran the Single instance Tinker just as fast ~162pts/day

    When you get double gromacs on the P4 HT thats when 2 instances will REALLY help.
