Mount D:/ to Program Files Folder, Access is Denied
I recently had to reformat and reinstall Windows XP on my C partition. I was able to leave the remaining partitions as they were. Here is where the problem arises, I am attempting to mount my D partition to C:/Program Files/ but everytime I try to do so I get the same error message (yes, I did remove the assigned letter and make sure that D is void of all files via safe mode):
The Operation did not complete because access is denied. Check your access permissions.
Now I am curious to know whether my keeping the partitions D through H from the old Windows XP installation would have anything to do with that. I am also not too sure if the fact that C is considered the Primary partition, but D through H are all together on one Extended Partition would cause issues. If that is the problem, how do I go about fixing it? With that said here is a link to a jpeg of what disk manager looks like. You might need your reading glasses. I am sorry for the quality, but it is the best I can do with my comp out of commission.

Please someone respond soon. And thanks in advance!
