GamePC pits the best mobile designs AMD & Intel have to offer against one another.

Dothan 2.0ghz, 1.8ghz, 1.7ghz (P-M 755, 745, 735), P4-EE 3.4ghz, P4 3.2ghz, Athlon 3400+ DTR (2.2ghz)& Athlon 64 3700+ (2.4ghz)
While mobile platforms are typically extremely hard to compare, we did the best we could under the circumstances. All of the notebooks are using top of the line processors, and for testing, and are using the exact same hard drives. The graphics chips are all based on ATI’s Mobility 9700 GPU. Using ATiTool, we linked the clock speeds to the same stock 400/400 GPU/DDR clocks, and disabled ATI’s PowerPlay. The one difference here is that the Pentium 4 Extreme Edition notebook has 256MB of DDR memory while the other notebooks have 128MB of DDR memory. In our specific GPU intensive tests, we did not see any skew our performance numbers for the P4EE architecture.
Generally the P4-EE and the Athlon 64 take top marks....
