Graphic or console clients?

I was wondering, is there any performance difference between the graphic and console clients?

I'm currently running the graphic version on all AMD machines. I was looking to try to squeeze a little extra out of them.

TIA

Yeah, I think the graphical client uses some more power drawing the images. That's not why I switched to a console though. It was just a little too "user friendly" for me.

You prolly won't notice much of a difference between the two.

They are both just as fast when minimized. But when you open the the GUI, it does take a little bit to draw the proteins. They use the same exact core to do the work.
