Wish I had done it much sooner. Firefox is pretty cool. Much faster but I liked my IE6 tooolbars more and stuff.

I keep jacking around messing with differant skins still trying to find something I really like.

leaving the darkside is hard... welcome young padawan...

Now right click your firefox icon select properties...

Change the target line to this....

    "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" /prefetch:1

or what ever the path is for your install. toss the prefetch:1 flag on it.

Now the browser should open, when you press the icon, a little faster.... It does for me...

Get some extensions loaded up and then the real beauty of this browser will show up :D

Crap that bites big time. Just installed a new theme and now it won't open anymore... (sh*t) I'll go uninstall and reinstall and see if that works

How did you switch off IE?

Through 'add/remove programs' ? Just wondering if you actually deleted it or disabled it some how.

On one of my boxes I can't get Firefox set as default. IE keeps trying to take back over. But it is sort of fun smacking it back down each time.

I see that mozilla only displays properly with mozilla browsers which is gay.

And you used the "set program access and defaults" program to make it the default browser right? That also has a way to disable its use if I remeber right.

I tried mozilla for a while but I got tired of pages from other sites not loading correctly.

For me I run Norton Anti Spam, Black Ice and IE 6 and I get no problems.

The only glitch I get somtimes is when I try to look at a video clip on MSN or something and it is blocked by my pop-up blocker. I imagine I cold add a rule in the options to make it work right but I haven't gotten to it yet.

That's just my experience, I know that a lot of folks like mozilla though...
