Hey i'm here at my college with a wireless mouse and my laptop. I'm connected to the wireless network here but my mouse won't work. The click go threw but the pointer won't move unless i use the touchpad. I works at home, and sometimes here at the school the mouse wil move a little bit if i jerk the wireless mouse around.

Any idea people?

what kind of mouse is it??

i wouldn't think the wireless mouse and the wireless network would even care for each other, it's probably something.

Most wireless networks are 2.4GHz and most mice are on the 27MHz frequency, so the 2 are not even close to one another.

    A) Is the mouse powered by batteries. Replace batteries.

    B) Optical mice may not work well on dark surfaces like black mousepads. Change the mousepad to a solid color rather than multi-colored.
