Yep, you have trojans galore :(

    Delete the following:

I'm not sure about this one. If you know what "bigfix" is, keep it, if not, I'd ditch it. It looks fishy:

    O4 - Global Startup: BigFix.lnk = C:\Program Files\BigFix\BigFix.exe

You should update norton, boot up in safe mode, and do a full virus scan.

Also, delete the following files manually:

    C:\WINDOWS\System32\airnzzb.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\iyokarc.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\rswkka.exe

and any other "randomname.exe" looking files that are in there. If you sort by date, chances are you'll see a group of them all around the same date.

Post a new log when you're done :)

welcome to the SVT forum, MrBill. Have you run adaware and spybot S&D? If not, check the first link in the header.

After you run them, remove these in safe mode, if they still remain:
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {549B5CA7-4A86-11D7-A4DF-000874180BB3} - (no file)
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC} - (no file)
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Cryptographic Service] C:\WINDOWS\System32\airnzzb.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [System Update] C:\WINDOWS\System32\iyokarc.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Windows Update] C:\WINDOWS\System32\rswkka.exe
    O4 - Global Startup: BigFix.lnk = C:\Program Files\BigFix\BigFix.exe
    O21 - SSODL: Web Event Logger - {79FEACFF-FFCE-815E-A900-316290B5B738} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\Npfqbnan.dll

then delete these files with randomly generated filenames:
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\airnzzb.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\iyokarc.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\rswkka.exe

I would suggest uninstalling bigfix completely, from the add/remove programs menu. It's not spyware, but it is a huge resource hog, and if you run windowsupdate often, it's unneccessary.

shakes fist at prime. It's not my fault he's...."faster than a speeding bullet." (or so I hear)

Thanks guys! I'll work on this when I get home tonight.

I ran Ad Aware yesterday and it found 3 entries which were deleted. I rebooted and ran it again and they were not there.

I have not ran Spybot S&D because trying to download anything is virtually impossible with all the traffic going on.

BigFix is an emachines thing. I'll remove it as well...

I'm going to try and setup my router tonight for dial-up as it has a com port and can be configured for dial-up. Maybe that will help keep out some of the trash?

I'll re-post my HJT log tonight. Thanks again. :)

I think it's cleaned up. I turned on the firewall in XP since I haven't got the dial-up on my router working correctly. It dials and connects but web pages time out before loading. I think that is a modem issue, but that's a whole different story. ;)

Here's my HJT log after deleting the suggested entries.
