someone please help... -- jdk15balla

our computer is having some terrible problems...the biggest being when u turn the computer on, the desktop will not fully load and nothing can be accessed...sometimes, a message comes up saying the desktop is not accessible (from the C drive) and sometimes it says Internet Explorer has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL and needs to close...both cause the desktop to become inaccessible and sometiems freeze....the thing is, if u repeatedly turn the computer off and on, after as many as 20 tries, eventually it will come on...can anyone please help?

We need to know what kind of parts are in your computer.

But more than likely, Windows ME itself is to blame. It's the worst Microsoft operating system ever.

    you have home computer syndrome.

First, I'm moving this post to the Spyware forum. You very likely have a high amount of spyware.

    Steps to take:

    1) educate yourself

    2) Take the appropriate steps to begin removing the infection.

    3) Post a HijackThis log.

    We'll go from there.

    That's all I see anymore.

I swear we need to start having "internet licenses" just like driver's licenses.... The average joe home computer user just goes on the internet, becomes infected with 1200 different varieties of spyware and trojans, and cause nightmares and headaches for the entire global IT infrastructure because their home computers are being used for spam, more spyware, DDoS attacks, you name it.

    Remember skynet? :eek3:

Much like whilst talking to a friend and hearing her daughter say "time to punch the kangaroo".

Prior to hitting the kangaroo - 0 objects recognized
Post hitting the kangaroo - 251 objects recognized

    Dumb kangaroo.

    Fold on.
