Can't seem to find the virus

Ok... maybe I'm a bit obsessive, but for some reason I believe I still have a very well hidden virus on my system. My clients (web design), are complaining that they are getting emails from other clients of mine with Virus in them...

THey are actually getting some spoofs and some legit virus emails.

Well the only common thread would be me in that there loop.

I have used AVG - Antivirus
Trend Micro House call
Ad-Aware (free ver)
Spybot S+D
and Zone Alarm, but still...

SO NOw I'm posting here in hope that someone can help me trach this bugger.

One note: I have 3 computers on my home network and have run all the same protections on each of them through a Netgear FM114P router, stanradr Firewall defaults.

I dnloaded and ran HIjack and this is what it says. (Can you help me?)

Usually the emails will identify WHAT virus was found if its a legitimate email. Many of the worms and virus's spoof who sent the email from addresses in your contact book.

Symantec and Mc"afee both have online scans available from their web site for free still I'm pretty sure. This isnt spyware.

    Thanks Tex.

I figured I was pretty safe, but man... I just can't figure out how other clients are getting email bombs by "new" clients... The only connection I can make is one fo my computers has all my client email addresses in Eudora...

But nothing ever seems to come up in the virus scans.

Isn't AVG a decent product? Is there much differnce between Trend Micro's online scan and Norton or Mcafee?

The fact your stuff is in Eudora makes me very suspicious that its your virus actually. You sure you didn't switch to Eudora from Outlook or Outlook Express as thats the two main contact books 95 percent of the virus's attack?

Usually the 3'rd party products are much safer.

Everybody swears by differnat virus products. I actually dual boot servers into XP just so I can do a full nortons virus scan under XP and it constantly finds stuff others miss.

The nortons product with system works jacks with guys that screw around with their system and edit the start up process's without knowing what they are doing but.... but I still think Norton system works with the virus scan is a good buy for most guys.

When I install XP its the first product after the OS I install on my box's every single time. Then I run through like three reboots as it updates its stuff througfh live update on the web and reboots.

I have been doing this a very very long time and built thousands of PC's. As I mentioned everyone has a favorite but I prefer Nortons Anti-virus and use automatic updates on all my home computers. Also be sure you keep the OS updated with MS updates.
