I'm not much of a thread starter but I turned the tv on this morning and this is what I was greeted by

For almost an hour they were still searching for the assailant, until a plainclothes cop stepped forward and said he shot the man after he killed the councilman. So the 2nd victim in this case who died shortly later in the hospital was the shooter. He was Councilman Davis' guest to the meeting; when the metal detector went off, he said "he's with me" and security let the man through. After the meeting, he pulled the gun and shot Davis.
