Here is a log of my wife's Mothers CPU, it is haveing alot of problems, I have run nortan antivirus 2004, Adware, and Spybot and gotten rid of everything that would show up on all three of those, every time you close a window in internet explorer you get an error, I think that the error is caused by a popup that the earthlink popup blocker is trying to close. The earthlink popup blocker is stopping all popups, but there are still a bunch that you can see try to open up.

Any help would be great as she just bought the cpu like 3 weeks ago, but she also has a 12 year old daughter that likes to play interactive internet games and I think that they are the cause of all the problems, as she was on one of my computers for 1 day and it got wreaked in that one day. It was not an issue because I had got in a new hard drive for that cpu the day before.

First, remember to put HJT into it's own working folder, like C:\HJT.

It is being reported as a monitoring tool that get's installed with RealTek software. Nothing very major, but you may want to toast it to be safe.

I recommend you uninstall the Earthlink pop-up stopper and try a different one to see if it works better. Try PanicWare's free stopper:

Give that a try and see if you still get IE errors after you close windows.

Or you can use a different browser. I generally recommend not to use any popup blockers, and instead use a browser that has one built in.

You should read this, and also let your mother in law read it. It's a basic primer on spyware.
