To be honest, I don't see anything there. Can you describe the problem more? Could you post what your homepage resets to?

Lop.com is the old vesion of Omegasearch....but I don't see the infectant files in your log.

Try downloading our very own Short-Media designed OmegakillerSM program. It is designed to look for certain versions of Lop.com. Give it a try and see if it works:

odd, do me a favor and check a couple of things ...

Right click on the pane just above your address bar.. here:

    ietoolbar.jpg

and the resultant popup menu will give you a list of all the toolbars registered, post a screenshot or just give me a list of whats there... eg Mcafee, etc ..

this is so that we can see what the source of the infection seems to be:

also, you said you ran HJT in safe mode ... give it another whirl in normal mode, shouldnt make a difference, but at least we'll see all the running processes that way, and see if the infection might be coming from there as well..

ahh, that did it, for some reason in safe mode the following entry was hidden.

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Lite Byte] C:\PROGRA~1\BONEBI~1\trans show.exe

you can either remove it manually with HJT, or use OmegaKiller again, it should get rid of it for you now that its in the startup list...

i should have added, you're going to have to get rid of the file too: navigate to C:\Program Files and remove the Bonebi~1 folder where the trans show.exe file is ...

it doesnt look like the process is in memory but if its hiding itself you might need to restart in safe mode to delete the file.... once the file is gone you should be all clear..
