This was done in about 4 hours, I could spend a day sorting out the damned smoothing groups, bad poly's and all that, but I gotta get this done quick.
Maybe you recognise it?
Gonna just do the UV mapping real quick now and do the texturing at home, but I need this done tomorrow or I can't goto an AViD convention Thursday when this is due.

All in one big mesh, I really hate box models, that "cheat"... but I know I gotta do it eventually, just not now!
There is nothing wrong with box modelling, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. They are quicker, a lot of the time better, and spare polycount.
I kno all that, as I said... "I" don't like it, my teacher was telling me... "nonono, don't boolean the wings to the fusalage"... muahahah! I DID! I did the clean up work too! It's that whole "clean" feeling I get... love the symetry!
Speaking of symetry, I did an optimize and th symetry just now, got it down to 778, however, the reason why is becuase I found there may be hidden polygons, and since the teacher is helpings omeone else ATM, I can't figure out what the hell is going on. I have only ONE OBJECT, yet it seems to me I have something hidden.... it says in "Polygon Count" that my object has 778 polygons, with ALL OBJECTS having 823... can't find what those extra polygons are.... SHIEST!

If you'd like, you can post it and I'll see what I can do, booleans cause problems with backfaces and hidden unwelded verts, that's why he said not to do it.
let me just say that I am very glad to see the Digital Media forum getting used by you all in such a productive way. Your continual posting of projects, discussion of the finer points of their design, and encouragement for each others work is nice to see.
