I read upping the agp voltage a bit can help stabilize a system when pushing for a higher OC? Sounds fishy, comments?

    Sounds fishy, since the onboard voltage regulator for an AGP card will regulate it back to nominal voltages without modding the card.

    Furthermore, pressing power to the AGP slot takes power away from other things on the 12v rail, REDUCING stability as a plausibility. Sounds like a load of bull dookie to me, dude.

    Agreed. Maybe back in the days before a locked PCI bus when cranking the FSB cranked everything...might cause video instability...

    I don't see how this could be worth anything now though.
