reoccuring prob... grrrrr

whenever i install anything on my lappie, i get this awful irritating toolbar.. and my browser is hijacked.
i have used omegakiller, spybot and ad-aware.. not in that particular order... and then ran hijack this... and this is my log

    oh, what i forgot to mention is... that with omegakiller there is one stubborn file that the progam tells me it deletes everytime i run it. when i look it up on my harddrive, i find that it is there. and i cannot delete it.

    go to C:\Program Files and try to rename the folder METASHOWDUMB to something else - call it DELETE ME

    Then, reboot and delete that folder.

    Let me know if that works.

    Also, notice that you have 2 versions of Internet Explorer showing in your processes list:

    c:\progra~1\intern~1\iexplore.exe
    C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE

    That second one is legit. The first is bogus. This is a new trick we have started seeing this week, and we are working on how to fix it. Please try renaming the folder that Prime mentioned, and we will see if it makes the bogus iexplore entry go away.

    Also, check to see what folders in your Program Files folder start with the letters "intern" . There should normally only be one, Internet Explorer.
