Hey people,

I've been getting some annoying popups and I'd like to get rid of them. This my log file... Can someone advise? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks so much.

Just one bad entry there that is probably the source of your pop-ups, the Twaintec.dll. But you may want to clean up a few other things to optimize.

Reboot in SAFE MODE. Run HJT. FIX:

    O2 - BHO: TwaintecObj Class - {000020DD-C72E-4113-AF77-DD56626C6C42} - C:\WINDOWS\TWAINTEC.DLL

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [zzzie4] c:\Compaq\Win95\runapp.exe /k:run\zzzie4 /c:c:\compaq\win95\ie4setup.exe

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [BrowserWebCheck] loadwc.exe

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickTime Task] "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\QTTASK.EXE" -atboottime

    O4 - Startup: WinZip Quick Pick.lnk = C:\Program Files\WinZip\WZQKPICK.EXE

Then, find this guy and delete him:

    c:\WINDOWS\TWAINTEC.DLL

Reboot normally, check things out, and let us know. :)
