Stupid USB 2.0 Root hub....

Well like 2 weeks ago i bought a USB 2.0 Root hub for my KX7-333 Motherboard (cause it doesnt have it built in) and for some reason after like 3 times i reboot the system it REFUSES to boot.. it wont. i tried safe mode i tried all modes.. it just wont boot. but if i take out the USB 2.0 Card it boots just like normal. i tred installing the Drivers, i tried not installing any and just using the Windows 2k pro defaults but none work... damn...

any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

    You didn't happen to put it in the last PCI slot did you?

    at first i did, then i remebered that little problem with this board/chipset then i tried it in the 3 and now its in the second, ive tried it in 3 diff slots...

    man.. this sucks! i hope i didnt waste 20 bucks...
