I'm new to the whole 64-Bit revolution and I'm currently disiding on what to put in my new system. I don't need 64-Bit OS (yet.., lol), but I would like to have a 64-Bit processor when the time comes (Meaning: The release of project "Longhorn" in late 2k5 or early 2k6).

So to put it simply, will Windows XP Home Edition (32-Bit) work with an AMD Athlon 64 3200+ processor?

Thanks man! You've made my day. lol By the way, will I need to do anything special or would it function as if it was a 32-Bit after installation?

I can't wait to get WinXP 64. I downloaded it from their main site, but their own CD'Key didn't work. So I'll just buy a copy of their eval software, shouldn't cost much. But Currently I'm Running a AMD-64 3200+, 3 512 DDR's 2700, Two 120g Wd Hd, Two 40g SATA Wd Hd (Raid 0), Asus K8V SE Deluxe, ATI Radeon 9200 Agp, XP Pro (Dual Boot) Suse 9.1, Roudrunner (3000/384) - Linksys BEFSR41
