I haven't been able to find out how to go about building a MOD for UT2004, looked at a couple MOD's websites, but they don't even say what they used, or anything like that. Fileplanet has ziltch also.

Don't have a lot of time to look either gotta rush to class, but this is very important to me ;) Anyone have anything?

you need ut2004 editor. it comes with ut2k4 and probably ut2k3 as well. i think it's a fee download if you don't have it.

Fire up UnrealED. It should be in the Ut2k4/System folder. PlanetUnreal has some links to tutorials and stuff. That's mapping/textures/models/skins/bit of programming. Should be enough to get you started :D

heh, I'll probably spend all my Flash lab today reading up on this instead of doing my damned tutorials ;D

I'm really beginning to love Programming and 3D, but I don't like doing one or the other, must be both! :D

    EDIT//
I take that back, I only like doing Programming when I also get to do the 3D stuff, cuase I love 3D no matter what! :D

There are some damned comprehensive things through that link, but it's hard to distinguish between the new and old until you've spent alot of time reading.

But, I swear this! I WILL begin the building phase of my game before this month is through.

if you can, get yourself a copy of the dvd special edition of ut2k4. there's a second dvd included which is all videos on how to use unrealED. very cool stuff.

Thanks guys, just got this all working, and have already played on my own quickly built map. This is a great utility! I just wonder how far it will take me in building a full MOD, can't wait to begin programming for this :D
