I'm guessing you're looking for something server side since you mentioned bulletproof. I personally use bulletproof as my server side prog but you might wanna give Serv-U a spin. I used to use it before I found G6 and its definately worth a look.

Bulletproof is easy! :) Just takes some poking around. Two people can't share the same Home dir, that was interesting to learn for sure. Anyway. I used WS_FTP Server (has a 30 day trial) before I got BPFTP. Pretty straightforward. Might wanna try it.

//EDIT: PM or message me (aim/msn) if you want help with it, if not, check out WS's trial  I can't think of any others off the top of my head, sorry.

I've been using Serv-U for years, takes minutes to set up, and have never had any problems with it. Making new users is a snap, good default security settings, and lots of advanced options. I highly recommend it.

I had used GuildFTPd and I am now using FileZilla. Both are easy to use and I had no problems with them. The only reason I switched to FileZilla is that I could never connect to my FTP from school using GuildFTPd. I thought it was a problem with GuildFTPd not working correctly but it seems to be a problem with my router. I have also tried WarFTPd, Serv-U, Bulletproof, FileZilla with the same results. I can connect to my FTP from anywhere else except for school. I stayed with FileZilla because it free and open source and because GuildFTPd hasn't gone on to 1.0. They are still at version 0.999.xx.

I feel GuildFTPd and FileZilla has a less clunky user interface than Serv-U but that's just my opinion.

AH yeah! Guild! That's the one I used for the longest time. Very nice. I switched to BPFTP tho, cuz I heard it was better...ah well. Both are very good.
