    Welcome to Short-Media.

Put HJT into its own folder (e.g.: C:\HJT). HJT makes a backup when fixing files that is easier to locate (and less likely to get lost) when stored in a separate folder (not on the desktop or in a temporary folder).

Next, make sure you can view hidden and system files; Instructions here => http://www.short-media.com/forum/showpost.php?p=172588&postcount=3

Disable system restore; Instructions here => http://www.short-media.com/forum/showpost.php?p=172591&postcount=4

(In case I forget, once all your problems are solved, restore the "hidden files" and "system restore" to the original settings).

Reboot in Safe Mode, Run HJT, and FIX this entry:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [iejm.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\iejm.exe

While still in Safe Mode, create a new folder named C:\Quarantine. Find the file "C:\WINDOWS\system32\iejm.exe", rename it "iejm.xxx" and move it to the Quarantine file you created.

Reboot normal and see if your problem is solved.

Run HJT and post a new log.
