cant see file hijackthis

I put hijackthis on a floppy and tried to run it on the infected computer
when I try to do a dir on the floppy it show nothing.
But when I do that on a good computer the file is there?
Same with cwshredder?
Help this is driving me crazy. The computer won't get s dhcp ip address
that is the orignal problem.

    Sounds like a problem with the floppy drive. I have replaced a few floppies over the years, and that is the first symptom - it can't read floppies written on other drives.

    Try burning to a CD-ROM instead.
