Network connection keeps on dropping!!!
Hi,
I am having a problem with loosing my internet connection. I connect to a cable modem through a router (Belkin 4 port - Wired) Every couple of minutes I get an error message saying that my ehternet cable has been unplugged. If I wait for a couple more minutes the connect seems to be back up and running again.
However everytime this happens I end up with a new IP address??. I have tried different OS (WIN 2000 and Win XP) and the same thing seems to happen.
I have updated the drivers for my ehternet card (Marvell Gigabyte) and also installed the latest firmware for the router, still no luck!! D'oh.
When the connect is lost I cannot even access the router through 192.168.2.1??
Anyone got any idea's that may help???? please?
