or should I just go with Crucial? I want a matched pair of 512 PC 3200 for less than 200 if possible...will i notice a perfomance increase from those or will this one work ok?

also will there be a performance increase from 2700 to 3200?

I'd be inclined to go with the Kingston, I know Geil is good, but I hear more complaints about their RMA service, though newegg has excellent RMA service. The kingston is cheaper, could more than likely be able to do the same timings as the Geil, if not better, all with a simple cranking up of the voltage I am sure.

I don't know, nor have I ever heard of this "PDP Systems"... so naturally I don't trust them ;)

And yes, there will be a difference in speed in PC2700 vs. 3200. Since you asked that, I wander what type of system your running.

I actually want to change my mind now, I kinda feel the Geil may be better, but at the same time it is more costly. So if your wanting best bang for buck, maybe I would go for the Kingston, but the Geil would also be good. Ugh, it is so evenly matched if you ask me for those prices.

I am not really asking about overclocking, it is a possibility in the future. I am mainly asking about the brands, I have never heard of them, other than the cheaper corsair ram.

OK, well I don't see any links to the corsair RAM you mention.

By the way my system is:
    AMD 2700+
    ABIT NF7-S
    1GB PC2700 DDR RAM
    Radeon X800 PRO
    160GB HD
    80GB HD

don't know what other info you may need. WIll it be a noticable difference?

the corsair is good stuff for the money. After that I would also suggest Crucial. You most likely will have more luck OC the Corsair.
