Boom Bang WTF Just Happened
Well, last time I started oc'ing I usually maxed out at around 2.28. Whenever i pushed it farther my video card would seem to freak out and i would get a bsod saying something about ati2vag.dll. So i figured my installation had gone to **** and decided to just wipe out the partition and see if i could clean it up.
So i delete the partition and reinstall all my programs. Once i have everything working nicely I decided that i'd go to sleep early (11pm ) and wake up early (5:20am). So i wake up this morning and i was on a mission. No matter what my 2500 was going to be pushed to the limit (2.3) and it was.
I reached 2.3 (210*11) at 1.8 v, got into windows, tested some apps. Apps failed so then i decided to crank it up to 1.85. Stable as a mothafruckin rock! So since i did not have any programs like prime95 or f@h to test it. I decided to play my favorite 3dgame, counter-strike. I went 32-1 and i'm rather suspicious it's that extra 500 MhZ
Then next i decide to test it with 3dmark2003. I tried it with 3dmark2001 but got the message that the file was corrupted Anyways, on goes 3dmark2003 with all it's prettiness and dx9ness. Last sound test finishes and bam! I break 5000 with out even oc'ing my r9700pro.
I figure well, ****, if i gain 500 points in 03, without even oc'ing my video card, then i'm gonna gain a hell of a lot of points in 3dmark2001. My past scores were in the area of 13,000, which really discouraged me... seeing several people getting upwards of 15k and 16k. So i load it, close all apps except mirc, go take a shower. Come out of the shower standing butt naked with my jaw dropped on the floor looking at my 01se score. 16,585.
I am now a big fan of fresh installs

Good man!
17,500-18,000 is very possible on that setup, GO!
Seriously, I'm glad you didn't have a web-cam hooked up!
If you hadn't said it, I would have!
I remember that picture.
