Trying to get rid of pop ups and direct-x pop-ups

Hey All,
I have tried to read everything and do all the stuff it says to get rid of spyware from this board. I also have run adaware and search and destroy. When i turn on my computer I still get the same popups. The first is a direct-x install about spybot and the second is a advertisement that says it is "blank." I really need someones help. Can someone please look over my HiJack this log and tell me what needs to go. Your help is appreeciated. Thank you very much.

    Hi Justin,

I was 18 once too, but spent most of that year drunk, so I don't remember much. We are here to help, but like for people to follow instructions.

First, stop starting new threads. Please post ALL your replies in the same thread (let's use this one for now).

Next, make sure Adaware and Spybot have the latest updates.

Next, Get the updated version of HJT and put HJT into its own folder (e.g.: C:\HJT). HJT makes a backup when fixing files that is easier to locate (and less likely to get lost) when stored in a separate folder (not on the desktop or in a temporary folder).

Next, make sure you can view hidden and system files; Instructions here => http://www.short-media.com/forum/showpost.php?p=172588&postcount=3
Disable system restore; Instructions here => http://www.short-media.com/forum/showpost.php?p=172591&postcount=4

(In case I forget, once all your problems are solved, restore the "hidden files" and "system restore" to the original settings).

Reboot in Safe Mode, Run HJT, and FIX these entries:

    R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.cnn.com/
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch = res://C:\PROGRA~1\Toolbar\toolbar.dll/sa
    R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName =
    R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,SearchAssistant = http://www.websearch.com/ie.aspx?tb_id=50094
    R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,CustomizeSearch = res://C:\PROGRA~1\Toolbar\toolbar.dll/sa
    R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {8952A998-1E7E-4716-B23D-3DBE03910972} - (no file)

[You can reset your homepage to whatever you want after we get you all cleaned up]

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {16FF6152-B513-7CE1-D356-6D557CAD2B4D} - C:\WINNT\System32\muo.dll

    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC} - (no file)

    O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {339BB23F-A864-48C0-A59F-29EA915965EC} - (no file)

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [5JMC2@J5BPQDX4] C:\WINNT\System32\Awdzm.exe

While you are still in the Safe Mode, locate and delete these files:

    C:\WINNT\System32\muo.dll

    C:\WINNT\System32\Awdzm.exe

    C:\WINNT\System32\AxsMO.exe

    C:\WINNT\System32\QegdDk.exe

    C:\WINNT\System32\dktoc.exe

Then, while still in Safe Mode, delete the entire contents of this folder:

C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp [note that the folders will not have "~1" in their names, but instead will have more letter than the first six listed]

While still in Safe Mode, run Adaware and Spybot again.

    Fix any problems found.

Reboot normal, check things out, and post a new HJT log in this thread.

    Good luck.
