Ok I have a question?

If I had say 3 computers/boxes and one monitor could I link them up via a network, ie make them part if a workgroup, then enable the remote desktop function and look at those boxes with out changing monitors?

If they all have XP pro then you shouldnt have a problem. I don't think XP Home offers the remote desktop feature.

I do it. I have several that only have a network and power lead. I use http://www.realvnc.com/ to control

Yea, I'll have to give that a try...

I can not seem to get this rig I have, added to my existing workgroup.
Plus, I can't seem to get the hang of how to use the MS RDC interface.

This part is definately the thing that I am not good at.
I try to read about it but the info is like trying to read greek that I can half ass understand. I get a few sentances into the info and my mind shuts off... LOL

I think I could get it if some one walked me through it either with a video or a hands on kinda thing, but to read about it is the real hard part.

Funny thing too..., as I don't have much problems with other parts of computering...

I did this for 3 computers, using just my main one. Was more of test just to see if I could do it, using the XP Pro standard stuff.

No problems but I had to create passwords on the users before I could login remotely
