Windows XP issue I can't track down
Thought maybe somone here could help me figure this out.
I keep getting a crash in both IE and Firefox, about an NTDLL.DLL error, and the program has to shutdown.
Bot browsers do it, and it seems to be ONLY with browsing that this happens, as it doesn't happen in any games or apps or anything, just when I am browsing. I cannot replicate the error on any certain page or game or site or anything, it's just random. It happens sometimes alot, and sometimes rarely, it can be anywhere from 5 seconds to days before it errors out on me.
I checked in Administrateive tools, and events, and all I get is the following:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Application Error

I have searched, uninstalled, among numerous other things, and still cannot seem to track this down.
I had this happening just before SP2 came out, and had thought it was that q1 something update, so I uninstalled it, but still no help. I figured it might help to maybe install sp2 and see what happens, so I installed it, wich didn't help, so I JUST did a fresh install, a day ago, of windows, but I still get the error. This has happened with sp1 and sp2, mind you this was late late sp1 before it started happening. I am thinking some update that ms has put out is causeing an issue with some of my hardware maybe, dunno, I just know it's very annoying and I wish I could track it down.
Anyone have ANY ideas at all? I am at a loss.
System specs are as follows:
Two 256mb sticks of pc133
PIII 800eb I think it is, wich is coppermine I think.
Asus intel 815 chipset mainboard.
gf2mx 64 mb vid card.
Ok I got the error just as I left this message, and here's what it said:
AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.2180 ModName: ntdll.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180 Offset: 000118d0
In Firefox, replace Iexplore.exe with Firefox, but the same ntdll.dll error otherwise.
The file I got to save is here at this link if anyone wants to read what the errors that was generated in a text file Ijust zipped it up. http://www.alpha2k.net/files/ntdll.zip
Forgot to add I have done a virus scan, both with nrotons, and online at www.antivirus.com, I have also used TheCleaner to scan for trojans, and also used adaware and spybot to scan for spyware, and all came up clean.

I am now in the process of doing add/remove of programs 1 at a time to see if that fixes it.......if not I'll then try hardware. This looks like it's gonna be a long haul for this test, becasue I can't replicate this error in ANY way shape or form, I just have to keep surfing until I get the error again.
I went close to 2 days before this happened, and had thought the fresh install fixed it, but alas, it didn't.
