FAHClient 3.25 Beta for Linux, for those who might want to note, works to fold an existing downloaded WU and to send, but breaks on trying to receive one while connecting, in Mandrake 9.1. Mandrake 9.1 uses gcc 3.2 and glibc 2.3.2 and works only with the 3.24 client intended for the more recent gcc and glibc. Mandrake 9.2 will be using gcc 3.3+ and glibc 2.3.3 and I have not tried to get it to fold yet (beta 1 brought up to date is sitting on a HD set aside for now-- and be careful with Mandrake Beta 1's and 2's!!! VERY careful!!!). Just some basic notes for others down the line to read.
RH 9.0 uses the more recent 3.24 client as this user also found out. I think in the next few days I will see what RH Severn (version-to-be not firmed up yet) has for a gcc\glibc combo. RH is going back to a more Open Source model, I saw on RH and other places. So, might be more practical to use that now in future versions.
