I have a testing formula. I have an excel speadsheet. I would like one to represent the other. Are there any math/excel wizards who want to have a go. I can pay a little or send PC parts if the end result works.

PM/MSN/email me if you are interested.

I am ok with Excel but my maths is rusty.. :banghead:

The formula and basic spreadsheet are below. The end result should be seen in a graph. Straightline = Pass. Kink = Fail

What I have may be fine but need someone to tell me it's OK.

::EDIT - Formula in PDF..to big to upload. Try this link to the PDF

Well, you're using the =SUM() function incorrectly for a start. It should be used for adding up blocks of data i.e. =sum(a1:z1) instead of =a1+b1+c1+.....+z1. Removing the sum function in most if not all of the cells should be a good start.

I'm pretty good with Excel, I'll have a look and see if I can help.

It would be helpful if you could provide a spreadsheet with sample data.

//edit - your formula in F6 cannot work. As well as the incorrect use of sum, you are are adding together cells F5 and F6. This creates a circular reference as F6 cannot be calculated until F5 + F6 is calculated, and as F6 is not yet calculated...

A quick look at the paper you posted shows that the formulae you use look correct on first glance. Could you post some sample data so I can understand what's supposed to be going on??
