Videocard Issues
I was helping a friend with that has a Dell Dimension 8100. He currently has a GeForce card, I suspect it is a 32 MB card. Anyway, the video was crapping out (would have bars across the screen and colours were way off) so he bought a 64 MB GeForce card and put it in the AGP slot - no picture. Monitor stays black with an orange light. So he put the old card back and same thing, no picture. Could the AGP slot have been blown?
Next step to at least get video is to get a PCI slot card. Any suggestions? :Canflag:
