Dual core Opterons make their appearance

ArsTechnica.com has linkage and commentary about the new dual core Opterons. They remain socket 940, utilize HyperTransport between the cores, and will make their debut in a HP ProLiant server.

    Wonder if we'll ever see Intel Dual core chips with HyperThreading on both cores.
