Popups that drive me nuts

Hi, I have popup problems
I've run a few spyware programs, and the popups have decreased, but I still get them. It seems like they are now only from xlime and some other but can remember the names

    Welcome to Short Media forums. Your problem doesn't seem very bad. There are only a few bad things in your log.

    Before doing the following, please Set your computer to show hidden files and folders, Disable System Restore, and Reboot in Safe Mode.

    Once you have done that, Run HijackThis and have it fix the following:


    O2 - BHO: MultimppObj Class - {002EB272-2590-4693-B166-FBD5D9B6FEA6} - C:\WINDOWS\multimpp.dll
    O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions present
    O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel present


    Then find and locate the files listed above and Quarentine Them.

    Once you have done that, reboot, scan with HiijackThis again, and post a new log.

    I am at work right now but as soon as I will get home I'll get rid of 016 and repost a new log. Do I have to rebot in safe mode or it can be done from regular start-up?

    You can do it from normal mode. It's not an "active" component.
