Large Volume drives
I thought Id post this as a general info problem..
People running windows 2000 systems may have seen windows not recognizing an entire large drive above 134gig. The ide 100 spec and windows have issues addressing 48bit addressing. Windows 2000 supports it in SP4 but it is not implemented. I created a little reg file that will enable Lba and allow windows 2000 to access the full drive.
This is probably redundant but I had an encounter with issue and came of with a el quickie fix for it... small reg file that just adds the required reg entry to view big drives/partitions....
Mods feel free to examine it and give your stamp as a safe item for people to use.
