How can I add files to a Bootable CD to flash a BIOS?

Hey guys,

I need to make a bootable cd to reflash the BIOS on my ATI 9800Pro. I'm running off a PCI Card now.

I was trying to use Caldera DR-DOS 7.03 but I can't find a way to read the ATI Flash Utility and the BIOS Bin off another CD or the same one. I don't have a floppy drive. Any help?

Thanks,
Adam

You could try WinImage. Insert the files you want into a new floppy image, save it as ima and use nero to make the bootable cd with the floppy image. You can add the files there.

I make a bootable cd and just add files when I need them as part a a multisession CD. Works pretty much all the time. I am often doing bios or firmware etc. I have one cd which lasts a week or two. I just keep adding files until it gets cluttered the chuck and start again. You can also try making a boot cd that lets your remove the cd and put anotherone in once you have booted? This is usefull... http://ubcd.sourceforge.net/

hmmm... I just made a boot cd... then put it back in and added files... simple? If you create a boot disk... you should be able to swop the cd for another. Try one of these boot disks (on CD of course)
