Albatron Debuts New Wireless Audio System

edited September 2004 in Science & Tech
Albatron Technology announced its new wireless product, the Widio wireless audio system. This system was designed to turn your personal headset into a multi-channel wireless listening device capable of tuning into any of your audio devices (TVs, DVDs, stereo, computer etc.) anywhere in your house or office.
Headsets have become a convenient device for keeping noise to a minimum. Unfortunately, most home audio systems are not so mobile and you need to stay tethered by a cable when using your headsets. Recent wireless headsets have targeted this issue but not without some problems. A wireless headset must use a receiving device to receive audio signals and many of the recent wireless headsets use a built-in receiver resulting in a bulky uncomfortable headset. With the Albatron Widio system the receiver itself is set apart from the headset and can be worn on your belt or placed in one of your pockets. Secondly, Widio does not use a specialized headset. You can use any of the lightweight headsets or earbuds available at almost any audio store. You simply attach the headset to the receiver that you carry with you.
