Get 'um while they're hot. I'm surprised this wasn’t posted in the news yet.

Hrm... never really installed new chipset drivers, since this is my first non-oem computer. Does this require uninstalling the previous ones or can ijust do this like an update?

If the drivers installed were obtained direct from nVidia, then you could probably just upgrade, but if they are not, i.e they're ones provided by your mobo manufacturer, then uninstalling the old ones would be advisable. If you're not sure, just uninstall them, as it is probably the best thing to do in either situation when you think about it.

Alright, I installed 2.45, but I'm not sure XP even noticed it. All of my drivers are still dated 6/17 or earlier. I tried to uninstall them via the control panel, rebooted, got the request for drivers, installed, and they're still old dates on all of them. I guess I'm doing something wrong or Windows thinks it knows best?

Edit: Checked the properties on the drivers, guess I'm an idiot? Or are the pictures on the site different from the actual creation dates on the drivers themselves? My Soundstorm doesn't have the test sound selection menu, but it claims it's 348. Weird, quirks with Windows/nVidia?
