Need help removing xlime-offeroptimizer - mhassler
Hello -
I'm new to this forum, so please forgive me for an breach of board ettiquette - it is unintentional, and I did try to read all of the guidelines and instructions provided.
My work PC has been infested with xlime-offeroptimizer, and I can't seem to get rid of it. I am running Win2k with IE 5.5, SP2. I have already run AdAware, SpyBot, and NoAdWare - all to no avail. They are obviously not finding the problem.
I have run HJT, and will post my log below, if that's OK. Please let me know if I am not providing correct information, or enough info.
Thank you in advance for your assistance on this - it's making me crazy, and is certainly impeding my work - I test a web-based application all day, and this does not help!

Before doing the following, please Set your computer to show hidden files and folders, Disable System Restore, and Reboot in Safe Mode.
Once you have done that, Run HijackThis and have it fix the following:

Then find and locate the files listed above and Quarentine Them.
Once you have done that, reboot, scan with HiijackThis again, and post a new log.
