Local IP would be ipconfig (in start>run) and external would be
www.whatismyip.com

command
ipconfig or ipconfig /all
If you just do start/run/ipconfig, the box will close without you having a chance to see what it says.

start > run > cmd > within the Command Prompt windows type ipconfig ipconfig /help if your stuck.
