Alright, you got my PM about the new threads not wanting to un-bold themselves. I guess they only do it if you refresh the page...nothing major, really. Just something I noticed
But I like being in a rut, it's comfortable. It looks good but so did the other one.
Edit-And I like the 'what's going on' panel at the top so I can see who's here without having to scroll to the bottom.
By buttons, I meant pictures. Sorry for the lack of clarification.
All the pictures, particularly closed from/no new/new postings icons are ginormous compared to their old counterparts. I just don't like how BIG the images are, though the images themselves are pretty neat.
I also don't like rounded edges, but that's my love of square/parallel/perpendicular things talking.
dont know if its just me but i like the stickies being seperate from the rest of the posts, so i can quick read the topics and kill the threads accordingly
I'd just like to say that it looks MUCH nicer, very smooth and clean looking! The darker colors of the banner do kinda stand out too much but the banner itself looks very nice
Oh man... all the buttons were still in my cache except the "Quote & Reply" button so that's the only one that changed for me... Cache cleared, and now I understand why things were looking fubared to me
Dig the new look! Especially having the short-media byte included with the recent threads. Looks much cleaner that way. I personally like the new slightly larger edit and quote buttons.
The only thing I'm not sure about is using the SM wave icon to indicate whether a forum has new posts or is locked. It looks good, but more traditional icons may be more functional. Alternatively, the legend for the icons could be moved to the top of the page (and make them smaller in the legend view, so they don't take up much room at the top).
I was actually quite worried this upgrade would be met by some serious resistance.. :o
I think everybody appreciates the amount of hard work and comitement this takes Shorty, it really is excellent, it's just that I think the older you get the less you like change. I can remember when this was all fields you know!

Tall things from short people...
I did the rest.. but I like the header ..

Thrax... specify which mate
The "edit post" button doesn't match the "quote & reply" button...it just looks weird.
I too prefered the "who's online" bit at the top.
Just a half-pence of stuff and opinions this time... but I'm starting to mind giving you my critique less and less since you're just showing off now
Same colour, same size.. same font
You wierd boy
The read receipt will dissapear again

When i go from the main page to the forums it goes their instead.
I want to directly to the main forums instead.
I like it.... Nothing to change for me.... Looks good.
- A couple of colour variations...
- A compact "no thrills" version... (would probably render really nicely on a mobile device)

Cool that most like it
Great job!
