I cant get it to work with sata, anyone else having this problem?

I use Acronis True Image, have had no probs backing up from two SATA RAID arrays.
However, in both cases the backup has been saved to an IDE drive. Using latest version of Acronis, purchased/downloaded it about a month or so ago.

I have the new version alsu true image 8 and the image was kept on a ide hard drive. So im lost

do you have to something special with a sata? I try restore and it says analzying c: and just sits there

Sorry Bud, I can offer no clues - it just 'worked' for me. I chose the drive to back up and it done the job. Sorry
